In collaboration with The Shangri-La Hotel, Paris home to Prince Roland Bonaparte, grandnephew of Napoleon Bonaparte, the Haviland Manufacturer created the Couronne Impériale collection that pays tribute to the Emperor’s family. A prestigious table service ornamented with motifs, recalls the neoclassical architecture of the Parisian palace. The Manufacturer was inspired by the original decoration of The Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, a listed historical monument since 2009, and created a table service full of finesse. The soft and clear tones of the blue celadon, ivory or the purity of the white porcelain of Limoges, magically harmonize with the genuine matt gold or platinum that is painted by hand. This royal pattern is symbolized by various details, such as the bee, the eagle and the Imperial crown, meticulously worked on by the artisans of Limoges. The refined design recalls with grace, the curtains of the hotel’s historic living room, which is in harmony with the royal style of the palace.
